Harrowing video captured the moment a seaplane carrying eight people hit the choppy waters of New York City’s East River in a hard landing that left the aircraft partially submerged. Footage from inside the plane shared with The Post captured the moment the Kodiak 100 hit the East River as it approached the Skyport terminal along 23rd Street and FDR Drive.

A small seaplane carrying 10 people crashed into the East River on Sunday, according to officials with the NYPD and FDNY. At least two of the people on board the aircraft were being treated for minor injuries,
