Cuba was dealing with another national blackout Monday, its third since the beginning of the year, the country's state energy company said.

Cuba struggled on Tuesday to restore power after its national grid collapsed the day before, leaving millions still without electricity across the Caribbean island nation.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel posted Monday on social media that the United States is trying to induce "a social explosion through asphyxiation."
